They did an aerodynamics test of it (from what I was told by phil, duesexmachina), and supposedly while the STi wing created downforce, the Evo wing actually created upforce. And since I do drag racing, the wing slows you down in the quarter mile. So yeah, I do not need the wing for any performance that I do, or will do. If I do track days with the car, I think I will get away without the wing :tup:

i cant really decide if i want to leave mine on or not, but it doesnt bother me until i look in the rear view and see only the wing and no view.
