so after scrapping the car with a razor blade and sanding every edge with sandpaper, i finally got to paint my 1st car. It didnt go that bad i only had 2 little runs in the primer that were easy to get out. I cant wait till tom. so i can spray the color. its a gold with a flake in it. i def want to find a job when i get out painting so if anyone knows of any good shops around monroeville let me know.
thats cool ill give you 5 bucks and a pack of squares to help me do the body work on mine :bigthumb:
how do you run primer? if you ran the primer running the paint will deff happen and with a flake or a pearl its going to streak bad.
what kind of car and colors
details please
The first ones are fun…sometimes it’s better to paint a few hoods/doors (spare parts) beforehand to get a feel for gun adjustment and painting at different angles.
especially with metal flake. Get real comfortable. Thats all I gots to say
congrats and good luck. always a first for everything
