J/K. I edited them in photoshop to see what my gunmetal idea would look like and came up with these-

Its kind of sloppy but it was my first photoshop in CS3 and its like 3am. Which one do you like the best? I’m kind of leaning towards the last one. The lip will be polished/chrome regardless of color.

Waste of money ,no harm but the wheels are hopeless painted of not.The z a nice car so don’t half ass it a buy some Japanese wheels like Volk,SSR,WORK, :nod
These are temporary wheels until I get my 18"s fixed or buy new wheels.

gunmetal only works if there is a lot of open space (ex: small spokes) or some sort of polished lip to offset the darkness… these wheels do not have either and they just look dirty, IMO. don’t do it!
Should’ve just painted the whole wheel black or gunmetal and not bothered with the chrome/polished lip.

I think you’re right. I did a quick p.s of the wheels on the Z, they do look dirty.
With the last one, I was trying to go for a silver finish, close to what stock Porsche wheels are painted.

yea look ok probably would of left them stock till got new wheels… but thats my opionion… could be worse… like some pink rims on a wrx… :crackup
why don’t you just sand blast them or have them like chemically cleaned back to a factory finish?
