She’s resigning because you can’t run for President from Alaska. It’s too far away. And because the less actual governing experience she has, the less decisions she has to make that they can hammer her on. Her getting the nomination would be a democrat’s dream come true. She would normally have no chance but the Republican party is tacking so far right that she just might. Obama would give Reagan’s 49 state victory a run for its money.

I don’t think we see the 49 state landslide again…actually Reagan only lost 6 states in two elections pretty much untouchable numbers.
i think joe may have been half joking about the 49 state thing, although it was hilarious. she can’t possibly be the best they have to offer, she is borderline developmentally disabled.
i think she may have contributed to obama winning the election, people were afraid of mccain dying and leaving her in charge.
Good thing she’s only the Alaskan governor and that she didn’t ever consider taking a position of more importance and higher power. :uhh:
She’s got as good a shot at the presidency in 2012 as the Sabres have winning the cup this year.

Please…for the good of my party… just make her go the fuck away. Did she get some rough coverage from most of the media? Sure. But instead of rising above it she turned into a Diva and cracked, only feeding the first. Biden would make an ass of himself, it would be news, he’d ignore it and it would quickly stop being news. She’d fight with the press and keep her gaffs on the front page for weeks at a time.
