If you really believe our gas prices will ever come back down by new drilling, think again. Big Oil will just keep the price where it is because you’re already paying it which means you will STILL pay it and now they can make their pointlessly deep pockets even deeper. I mean seriously, oil futures have dropped like what, 20% but price at the pump has only gone down 5%? Wake up dude.
edit And I don’t want to hear any crap about how it takes time for the price to come down because we’re using gas we payed $140 a barrel for. If that were the case, our prices wouldn’t have gone UP as soon as futures went up in the first place.

So tell me, which one helps you more currently? In theory, the vast majority of cars on the road won’t be petrol by the time we could see any gas from the drilling you’re a proponent of.
