PARTING OUT 94 RX7 Single Turbo Blown Motor

A shame to hear, but a sensible choice. Quite the car it was.

dang that sucks Jay

i knew sneaking over and putting 87 octane in your tank would work bwwahahahhahaha!!!

so the truth comes out… lol

and thanks for the positive reinforcement guys :stuck_out_tongue:

for anyone curious about the condition of the turbo, pulled off the intake and downpipe for to get 2 vids:

turbine wheel : http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a1…=turbospin.flv

compressor wheel: http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...t=P1010005.flv

everything spins freely and no sounds of the wheels hitting the housings (you can see they come to a stop freely as well), shaft play is VERY nominal as it was when it was brand new

links don’t work jay :stuck_out_tongue:

Jay stinks at the internet :stuck_out_tongue:

amen sir, a-freaking-men.

It is really shitty to see this happen to you, we all know how much thought & reservation you’ve put into this thing… with that being said: move on and enjoy your summers (instead of fearing a breakage).

GLWS
