To John:

I am writing to you today from The Town Tavern, a brand new restaurant/tavern in Pittsburgh’s South Side, to offer you a unique opportunity to raise money for your organization. Like our sister bar in New York City, The Town Tavern Pittsburgh is dedicated to giving back to their local community in every way possible. One way in which we plan to do that is by hosting fundraisers for area charities at our venue.

How our fundraiser events work is very simple. The organization selects a date (Wednesday, October 18th, a 3 hour time block before 10pm (we can make an exception and hold your party from 8-11pm), and one of the following packages:
Option 1:

  • Association’s choice of door cover (for donations)
  • Discounted drinks for 3 hours: $2 Domestic Draft Beers, $3 Well Drinks
  • 2 Free trays of appetizers; $75 per tray if more is wanted
  • The Town Tavern will raffle off a $100 Gift Certificate and a T-Shirt
    Option 2:
  • $30 door cover for an Open Bar of 3 hours, including Draft Beer, Well Drinks and Wine
  • ($15-Charity and $15- Town Tavern for the cost of alcohol/ no profit)
  • 2 Free trays of appetizers; $75 per tray if more is wanted
  • The Town Tavern will raffle off a $100 Gift Certificate and a T-Shirt

Guests of the organization can enjoy the pre-determined package while giving back to a good cause at the same time! We also offer the option of having 1 to 2 of your members/employees guestbartend the event, which means they would be one of our servers behind the bar for the evening. This makes the event more personal and also allows an opportunity to raise more funds if the guestbartenders donate their tips to the cause. We are happy to train your guestbartenders, so there is no experience necessary!

We are currently booking events for the Fall and Winter seasons, so please get back to us as soon as possible to ensure we get you the best available date. On behalf of all of us at The Town Tavern, Happy Fall, and we look forward to working with you in the near future!

Kindest regards,

Erin Mooney

Sports Rock has been shitty to work with already. They do not return phone calls in a prompt manner. And really do not care about what we did and trying to do with the donations to charity.

Town Tavern, is willing to help and Erin is great to deal with. I think the guest bartenders would be great too! I was a bartender for a while and I know how fun it is! Also its another good way to make money from the tips like stated. We could have a real nice check going to charity.

if anyone has any thoughts, let me know.

i would rathre have it at sports rock. thsi way we can still have ppl under 21 there for this event. if we cant have ppl under 21 how about havening it a place where others can be there. also sports rock has more parking

Obvious question, but do both places have the Speed Channel?

ugh stupid underagers!

i prefer Town Tavern option #2

come on open fucking bar!

date some one older:kekegay:

john
its your call!im open to what ever!

I will double check with sports rock, but I am pretty sure they said 21 and over too. The parking did come to mind as well. So thats a definte con about Town Tavern.

yes. they have both digital cable and satelite with all the stations.

no one should be driving to an open bar, we will all fight over the city’s 4 taxi’s for a ride home

also, girlfriends and wife’s are natures DD’s!!!

the open bar, might be out of the question to the expense and not everyone drinks alcohol. Open bar would be pointless for my parents. Although its a great deal. 15 dollars for 3 hour open bar! thats 3 drinks minimum a person.

what about like buffalo wild wings in robinsion or somewhere like that?

buffalo wild wings :puke:

I can give them a call, I am not the biggest fan of BW3’s to tell you the truth. Nick also talked to his dad about QSL, just don’t think it would work there. Even’s Nick dad said it would probably be better elsewhere

yeah, and shit!!!

ok just knew it was big had huge tvs and easy parking and those that turn into pumkins at 12 can come

very true. I will give the management there a call. I just know that if we act like we did at any of the other places we have been to. we will be thrown out on our asses immediately.

thats well something well

just dont let chad ask any orential women if they drift

hahah, or let the big guy wear a license plate on his head, or no stickers, or no mass quantitys of margaritas

so that would suck for family then

this is an event to enjoy what we did on TV. no reason to act like a total ass!!!
