I just talked to someone who works for wachovia and he says that they are buying Morgan Stanley. He has been working on it the last two days.
I think it really demonstrates how fragile this whole mess is from when after his press statement Henry Paulson was asked to describe his fears regarding the probable economic consequences of government inaction. Paulson provided no answer and promptly exited stage right.
I’m going to darien lake tomorrow but remind me to have the CDCB conference with you tomorrow night. we gotta make moves nigga
Word homie just give me a ring in the evening and we can have our meeting. I really want to get a new watch and have been looking at M5’s so I have to make something happen.
NO WAI!!! lol you think they are making the most drastic changes since the 30’s because they are confident in the current situation? The question was fucking stupid so he didnt answer. Cant say I blame him.
Did you guys read the proposed “bailout” bill?
:jawdrop:
It effectively allows for the nationalization of the entire financial industry and leaves henry paulson as the decider.
Here it is for you to read yourselves.

With H. Paulson in charge it will be run right. He did a great job at Goldman and with set shit straight. Paulson is definately the correct person for the job. Japan is up 400+ right now.

So whats the plan for tomorrow? I know this will drive many stocks up but what stocks do you think this news will hurt? Anyone going to sell tomorrow?
well, this is the greatest thing ever, if your a socialist minded individual.
I think the bank stops are going to fall as soon as everyone realize Paulson has the power to liquidate any bank he wants.
I’m going to sell off all of my stocks if any of them get even money LOL!
LOL bro i like you…but you crazy.
Both of you!!!
HAHAHA why? I would almost promise we will see financials go bull for some time here. Im holding a good chuck that I might sell tomorrow only for the trade to pick them back up again in a few days. my prices on WM and FRE as just so low its hard not to stay long on them for some time. I also really dont want to sell RIMM or VMW anytime soon either. Maybe sell RIMM after the holidays. In fact im still looking for things to add but tomorrow probably isnt the best day. I still might move on a few trades though.

Sounds like things are falling into place for the future of the USA.:uhh:
If drew picked up that GS and MS when he wanted to he is about to be sittin pretty in the morning
We might another day/day and a half on this run… Retailers WMT, TGT, etc. took a hit on Friday. Looking to se if there is any action Monday. Platnum and silver are at a good levels right now. Retailer are already gearing up for christmas. I was talking to a manager at a local store and he said all the x-mas stock was ready to go up soon. GME (Gamestop) also looks good at these levels.
(I am long TGT for disclosure purposes)

I did not but that was too easy of a call. Remember i told you I had money that didnt clear till the next day so I couldnt get in on that one. I am moving more money in tomorrow I think but instead of playing whats going up I think I am going to assume everything is being overbought going up so also assuming oversold on things that get pushed down. I will possibly pick up some silver or something of the nature if it makes a strong retreat and count on the rebound as the trade.
TGT has always seemed good to me maybe I will pick some up long but probably not for a week or so. so the real question is who is going to bet on a better then expected holiday season? I sure am for many reasons.
Mixed results for me for the day so far. FNM and FRE booming, WM shitting.
yea… holy balls FRE up 40% and FNM up 27%…
I just wish i could buy into them now… I dont see them slowing down anytime soon.
the dollar appears to be in freefall
