I had a ‘98 GP GT and honestly, those chassis’ are the best damn vehicles in the snow you could imagine. Put some good tires on, and hammer down in the left lane on the thruway in 6" of snow. Rock solid stable and predictable when it gets slippery out.

This is an excellent feature for winter white-outs. If you can’t be seen, at least you can be heard.

I’m soon to be in the market for a winter ride. I was looking for a 4x4 but this would serve as dual purpose. Winter beater then next year yank the engine and swap into my fiero. Now I have some thinking to do…
