My aunt lived in Phoenix for 10 years and told me that these would come out of nowhere. You would be driving and within seconds you wouldn’t be able to see. That’s what happens when you live in a place where the ground literally absorbs no water.

Had these all the time over seas, they suck. Even worst when it rains during one
