Work wants to pay for my trip to phoenix so I can learn about new exciting things…
hotel, airfare, etc etc will be paid for…
anybody on here live there?
How is the city? worth taking off 2 days to visit?

I think any city you haven’t been to is worth visiting even if it sucks, at least you know it sucks. I like Scottsdale and Tempe…
I have heard Scottsdale/Tempe are awesome. I am sure Phoenix is pretty sweet too

the city itself is pretty lame…but the country around it is freeking beautiful. make sure you at least check out Sedona.
and if the weather is warm enough when you are there you should go tubing down the Salt River. http://www.saltrivertubing.com/

I would also recommend checking out the grand canyon
I took a 3 hour flight in a WWI biplane (snoopy style) around Sedona and one a little red rock tour. Dude had a private fighter plane collection. Probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.
Sedona is the most amazing place I’ve ever been. I would head out there every weekend and climb the rock formations when I lived in Phoenix.
Tucson was cool around the University, but there is probably a similar area right in Phoenix. There are a bunch of national and state parks around there, an airplane boneyard which is pretty cool, etc. I took a nice hike in one of the parks the one day. The scenery is amazing.
Flew through Phoenix last week. Looked nice from the airplane though I would have liked to explore the country region.
Been there plenty of times. Try to stay in Tempe, as it is home to ASU, and there are a bunch of good restaurants, bars within walking distance to Mill st.
It’s about 15 minutes from downtown PHX. Downtown PHX is a waste of time.
Sedona was honestly the most amazing place I’ve ever visited, every inch of that place could be on a postcard
im going to tucson in may… where abouts is this boneyard you speak of… and can you you go in them?
