Things to do in Vegas?

I am going to Vegas for 7 days…

Suggestions on things to do besides Gambling/hookers/blow?

I know there are some older threads on the subject

was already planning on paying way to much to fire some fully automatic weapons. :tspry: :tspry:

hoover dam lol

I didn’t even think about that I will go take the dam tour.

Skydive? There are several tandem factories out there.

Drive a few hours away to Zion National Park.

Pay too much money to drive a really expensive car for a short amount of time.
Go to the old downtown vegas area one night. It’s pretty cool down there.
Day trips to the Grand Canyon are available if you’ve got that kind of time.
The Rehab pool party is supposed to be off the hizzy if you get a day off and want to go to a crazy day-party.
Eat dinner here one night: http://www.hofbrauhauslasvegas.com/ It’s super fun and the beers are tasty

I just got back from Vegas. I’ve been out there a lot. I’ve got family out there. The strip, freemont st, Hoover dam, lake mead, mt charleston just to name a few things. Zion in Utah is good too. Can’t go wrong with free drinks while you gamble and have skantily clad women bring you drinks!

Moondoogies bar/naked city pizza. Has labatt and molsen. It’s all bills/sabres’d out. Dudes from buffalo. They have pretty solid pizza lol

I also just got back from Vegas…which hotel are you staying at?

Go see the Beatles at the Mirage and Fremont St.

Going for Defcon a big hacking conference there are a bunch of random after parties crystal method is playing one.

However don’t have much of an interest in drinking the whole time so I was trying to find other stuff to do.

I’m out

I moved from Buffalo to Vegas about a 6 weeks ago. There is actually a lot to do besides gambling.

Red Rock Canyon has hiking if you’re in to that, only 20 minutes from the strip.

There are a few places to go shoot machine guns minutes from the strip, but they are kind of expensive.

There are also a few places that do helicopter tours of Grand Canyon, and off road tours in the desert. Not to mention all the free stuff to do on the strip.

Lots of great restaurants out there.

My brother and I are going in a couple weeks, we are renting a new camaro and driving to the grand canyon.

Hoover Dam is neat to see if you have never done so. The $30 tour was something that I could have skipped however.

i also just got back from there … moondoggies has pretty damn good food … i had a new stang gt as my rental and drove a ton … lake mead, hoover dam … check and see if anyone is playing red rock canyon … the concerts are amazing there

also check out the driving experience at vegas speedway … real reasonable prices

freemont is the fucking ghetto … just sayin

drive a supercar over the hoover dam-

pricey but cool

What’s wrong with gambling, hookers, booze, and blow? Going to Vegas and skipping that part is like going to a convention in Niagara Falls and skipping the falls.

^This. Naked City Grill inside MoonDoggies bar has Buffalo style pizza and wings better than most pizza shops in Buffalo. The beef on weck is not perfect but it’s as close as you can get here. And they have Loganberry on tap. My best friend has lived here for 2 years and just found this out after having his parents ship a few cases every couple months, haha.

Fremont is ghetto, but AWESOME! We stay there when we go every year. People watching is epic. It’s a stupid cheap good time
The main strip is cool for your first few times, but gets boring and expensive
Las Vegas International Speedway
Shelby Tour early morning (across from speedway)
Pawn Stars shop

Freemont might be cool for the light show if you haven’t seen it lol
