Phone Flashing

Well I was wondering has anyone has personally flashed a phone.

  • Specifically from verizon to cricket?
  • What software do I need to flash the phone?
  • How hard is it to do the flashing process?
  • What features would be included/usable(texting/pix messaging/etc)?

Phone being flashed is a Samsung Alias(SCH-U740).

Here guy. If you have no experience doing this, make sure that you have a backup phone just in case you really mess things up. I learned all about this stuff by trial and error, it’s relatively simple if you just follow the instructions given very thoroughly.
I’ve never done a U740, but plenty of razrs have crossed my path.

Thanks. Its a spare phone i had laying around so i figured id give it a shot.

Gf is not to happy with her cricket phone and asked to flash one of my old phones.
