i think you need to up the filesize a bit, its forcing the pictures to look kinda crappy 
Or just make the picture smaller.
500k would seem more reasonable though. I like bigger resolutions because it makes it very difficult for a photographer to hide mistakes in focus or exposure.
I liked the ability to just attach them as a file to the post and there is a max size limit, so I think 200 is fair. The pictures themselves can be physically smaller which would make it look better.
