So i went to Xtreme Wheels to meet up with a kid that i might sponsor… pretty sick skater… i was taking a few pics there of him skating and it drew a small crowd and led to an impromptu best trick contest i judged between 4 lil kids and the winner got a free zen seven board. they were all so excited… everyone ended up stopping skating and watched lol… it was a good time, there were 4 rounds and people would be clappin it up as the kid would go down the quarter pipe to do their trick … at the end 2 kids were tied and played SKATE to decide the final winner, they started landing tricks they’ve never done before and were pumped… the one kid finally won and the 2nd place kid was real sad, i felt bad for him but i had no boards left… but was a great way to network with kids that love skateboarding. gave them all my cards etc, they were all excited and tried their best

Im by no means anywhere as good as you with a camera, but if you would like me to come and take some shoots i would be more than happy to do so. hell, maybe ill pull out the skates and do some “Aggressive Skating” lol or in the words of skateboarders, fruit booting. lol
Man xtreme wheels sucks so hard, beats nothing I guess but it still is pretty lame that you have to drive to Ohio to ride a decent park. I wish East Coast Terminal was around still
i just happened to have my cam with me, i didnt really plan on doin any pix there… but when i do, i wanna do it there with like, light stands, the real DEAL
that’s really cool, flippin’ a deck to a kid who could sure use it. when you do them in bulk, what do they cost you? blanks are what, $15-18ea? couple bucks for your graphic work (after it’s all designed, laid out ect) well worth it to see the shit eating grins on these kids faces.
