Photoshop expert needed....

Testing the waters on a transparent background image I want to make for the website, just working with some tinker photos for the time being.

I took a picture and edited it to a pencil sketch look via one of the effects tabs. Saved as GIF and set background white(+/- 7 on deviance) to be transparent. Now I’m left with a black sketch outline of the basic part of the picture.

What I want to do is change the black sketch outline to a blue colored sketch. Is there a feature in PS X3 that can do this. I found the dropper tool that allows you to pool the color and figure out what the RGB setting are for it, but is there one that you can select, say a particular shade of black in the photo and then set it so that all the pixels of that particular shade can be changed to say a light blue?

If so a simple walkthrough would be cool :slight_smile:

PM the photo plz

image->adjustments->color balance

it might not be under that exact menu as that is where it’s located in cs5. should do what you want. if not feel free to send the image my way.

Select
>>Color Range (use eyedropper/sampler to click on black outline)

*You should see what you want in blue selected

Image

>>Adjustment
>>>Color Balance

If you can’t figure it out, post the pic or PM LKsi/elliot/myself
