I think that might actually be an option, instead of buying cheap wheel tape it’d be a more permanent type deal
You would have to keep on top of it though so it doesnt oxidize. But I would paint the wheels a gloss black and polish the lips.
Btw Will OT, but there was a shipping error with the brake pads, so I’m running up to freewheeling to see what they carry right now. If I could somehow snag some EBC pads locally would you wanna help me throw em on tonight? Supposed to drop down to the 20’s after tomorrow

white with a polished lip would look hot.
My first real street bike had polished lips, they looked sooo good in the light, I cleaned them VERYYYY often
theyd be a nightmare to keep clean though (the white with polished lip)

In gold? If it were my bike (the silver 636) I would honestly stay black.
Maybe do a small pinstripe with rim tape in silver… or gold…white…idk
You should think about picking up the 05-06 wheels like i did, Chris. They look 10x than the 3 spokes.
This wheel project can’t cost more than 50 dollars lol, I honestly think I’m gonna do silver but I really want to see white, I think it’ll look badass. Bright bright white tho.
