turbo people opinion… ? i got those silicon cupler’s 90 degree just to make this intercooler work! anyone think they will leak or burst?

anyway… tomarrow its getting degressed in the engine bay then sprayed black… and then the rest of the engine and tranny mods go in…

AS FOR A1 MACHINE SHOP… the few who dealt with them on here…

do they do any performance work to heads? or they just rebuild them? im dropping my head off tomarrow to get rebuilt… and just wanted to see what kind of turn around time and what people thoughts are on them!

 Looks good Doug! :bigthumb:

That front mount and those hoses should work for you. Those IHI turbo’s, even at higher boost aren’t going to be powerful enough to blow off/apart silicone hoses.

… however, please tell me your not using the oil lines to hold that turbo while it’s on the stand in place in those pictures :squint:

good point on the ihi comment. its not a stock turbo but im sure you know this… hybrid…

and there’s a bracket under the turbo that it bolts to… helps prevent the turbo from shifting around and breaking head studs…

 ppffttt oil lines holding a turbo!!! :tounge:

 lookin good.

 look good!!!

honestly… i hope so! if not ill sell it and buy another project…

Looks good doug. Did you tear the motor down? or just clean off the piston domes??

I dont know if A-1 does any headwork. I dont think they do but im not entirely sure.

Powerhouse Performance does headwork but i have no experience with them. A dude i seen with a b16 head said he had his done there. I guess it came out good but I know they dont have a flow bench. Maybe its not totally neccesary to have a flowbench but i know even when i had mine done it was nice to have flow #'s to check the work.

i didn t really ask him for head work… because im low on funds this month due to me just working on my car instead of selling shit…

i just wanna get this thing put together as i sprayed the engine bay black! so motor needs to get back in !
