Yeah, the roads do get cleared quickly, and FWD with snows will “get you by” in snow, but once you are spoiled by plowing through snow over the hood in AWD, you are hooked. Plus, using the throttle to induce oversteer is so fun. I would rather drive my BEAT 4000 Quattro then a brand new FWD car in snow.

I know, but in the end, days of having fun in the snow is outweighed by having a practical car with more room. Keep in mind, I’m a drummer. My kit will totally fit in the rabbit. It will not fit in the STi.

Thats why I absolutely LOVE my A4 Wagon, utilitarian. You should see the looks I get spinning around in the Tops parking lot with a shirt and tie on in a wagon, or taking a right on red at an intersection and hanging out the arse end. It is even better with 2 other people in the car, this year, I will try some hijinx with this in the back
