I financed the whole car, dealer paid off what i owed on the sti and cut me a check for the difference.
I thought he said he financed the whole thing and took the equity in the check, but wouldn’t that mean that the he would have gotten a check for the entire trade-in amount?
edit: forgot about the amount still owed on the loan
