I picked up another beater 325is for this winter, we abused the piss out of the one last year. These cars are tanks and are a hell of a lot of fun in the snow with shit tires Look for it at your local TSD, RallyX, Ice Racing event
Hereās some pics of the one from last year, the new one is identical to it (with alot of the same terminal issues):
these cars are a blast in the winter. two winters ago I had a black 87, this year I have a black 85, lowered on bavauto springs, head shaved .020", chip, 2.5 throttle body, 8mm plug wires, modified 325i airbox w/k&n filter, 2.25" catback, e46 drivers seat, great stereo, studded snows, etc. All for $650!
It put down 121hp and 170 tq AT THE WHEELS, so Iād assume somewhere around 145-150 hp, ~195-200 lbs ft torque
and this is my summer e30. Just sold the 15x7 euro bbsās on ebay, gonna get some crazy bling for summer
Yeah, I should probably get some photos of the one this year (though almost identical). Coldaccord, we thought the transmission was going out on this one, but after flushing it (PO left it near empty, thanks buddy!) and putting in some 85w-140 honey oil errrā¦ It sounds mint again. The car needs bushings, and it has rust issues in a couple spots (the usual e30 fender, under drivers door etc). Itās a great beater though, I loved the one last year which is why I picked this up. Iām spending as little cash as possible on this thing though, just some basic maintenance (fluids, couple new hoses, plugs and wires thatās about it). Anyway, I should be posting plenty of videos this winter. On a scale of 1-10ā¦ E30!
