Motorcycles and potential problems are not something I’d let fall by the wayside…
Its not like a tire locks up or a motor blows and you have a cage surrounding your body.
I might be over thinking things, but I like to make sure my bikes are safe.
i know what ya mean, but there’s nothing i can do, just keep riding, the only other option i have is tearing down the motor, or selling it, the srpockets should be coming off this weekend as long as motomummy isnt late with shipping, and ill take it from there =/. bike rides smooth and just as fast, i think maybe its a mental thing, kuntryquest isnt too fond about the guys over at ray laks, hopefully he doesnt prove them wrong :spank:

ill post pics when i take the stuff apart 2nite as long as it came in the mail, i think i rounded the teeth on the front sprocket, it makes a little bit of a clack clack noise, but ill keep ya posted

Do you know how hard it would be to round the teeth of the sprocket with a couple hours of riding… especially when the front sprockets are hardened steel?

hey willy i was always wondering, you ride a zx14? im just assuming so from the pics, and if thats a yes, why do you still like your old 636 so much more?
He has a zx10, 636 is an all around great bike has great mid range and great handling.

I ride a zx-10r… I liked my 636 because it was not as twitchy, it was not as clean/pretty… so i got to be more of an idiot on it… and i could wheelie it for much longer, not to mention stoppies, not to mention take it to the track/roadcourse…
But the zx-10r is a way more fun street cruiser… it’ll pull 95% of anything that pulls up to it without downshifting out of 6th…
I dislike zx-14s they are too big…
I used to have a gsxr 1000 and i didnt like that either… (it was probably a faster bike in the 1/4 mile though… just there was always SOMETHING wrong with it…)
Hence my hatred for suzuki.

I had a really nice honda 1000 before too… it never let me down either… it was just kinda slow.
My 636 has a PCiii, pipe, steel braided lines, HH pads, damper, and the suspension was set up for me… It was warranteed for 5 years, it ran a 10.7 in the 1/4 and was AN ABSOLUTE riot no matter what i was doing… turning, stopping, accelerating, fooling around…
and most importantly… once i wrecked it… I didnt care about it… it was a great feeling to not care, and let others enjoy it with out worrying…
good to know =), steel braided lines is also another plan for me, i hope i do not have any problems for a good long time lol

another test run today:
down the 400 at about 160 in a matter of seconds, no noise and everything is still tight, did a few wheelies and shes still in good shape =)

i will try but i have no friends that ride, so most of my buddies hate following me around since they have no jobs and hate wasting gas, maybe i can get them dennys to snap a few shots
