pics and dyno graph inside! new video uploaded

thats what i thought at first, after installation i notice a tiny difference, i do like my blue sprocket though

you only noticed a tiny difference?!?!

170 mph is still cooking… you going to take it to the dragstrip or roadcourse?

i guess i dont really drive aggressive enough to know, honestly before i did the sprocket i never gave the bike WOT, so i guess i would never know a difference! i did do WOT on the new sprocket and the bike was at an 89* angle, i 100% noticed a difference in the rpms and shittier gas mileage

FYI i took it to lancaster and stalled when i dropped the clutch at 3k o well still need practice and more gas, lol you should have seen the guys face when he told me to light it up and i was like UM no the tire’e new

i hope you didnt SERIOUSLY DROP the clutch… you should ride the clutch out from 6k+ to get a decent 60 on an I4 bike…

dropping the clutch is going to cause wheelie/12 o clock action.

def gonna try that out at 6k, im a n00bie at racing

Ew you copied my squid sticker.

LAME.

<3

power means nothing on a sport bike. Its all about the rider. Unless you plan on running straight quarter mile drags, the power that bike is making now you will never be able to fully use. Like Willy said, learn to ride the bike, that bike has serious power and is not that forgivable. FWIW.

Is that the bike Bob Weaver had for sale for a while?

does that bike have a air pump? i assume it does but hey i only know yamaha…i also assume they disconnected it correct?(since there are a shop and have a dyno) it seems pretty lean to me for a slip on…just curious

air pump? juat?

UBENGINEER… try working your way up to 6k… 2-3-4-5-5500-6k… JUST NEVER DROP IT… you should stay in the friction zone throughout 80-100% of first gear. (then shift into second without using the clutch, and then 3rd… then you should be done with the 1/8)

lol i actually did, its pretty cute and bitches dig it

nope i got it on the boards here

lol idk wtf that is, idk what it is on a car and im suppossed to check them for NYSI :pimp: he told me it wasnt dangerously lean but it is robbing power, he had two matching honda 929rrs there one with slip on and one stock, the stock one had about 4 more WHP

im gonna practice in my driveway! lol no prolli in my street im in a deserted dead end, i havnt ever shifted without using the clutch ahh am i gonna fuck sumthing up? and when i do so i must be near redline?

apply a little pressure to the shifter… close the throttle, apply more pressure to the shifter and itll shift by itself… open throttle and repeat…

Its a sequential transmission… its fine for upshifts…

USE THE CLUTCH ALWAYS FOR DOWNSHIFTS…

must be a yamaha thing…sorry will and ubengineering…yamaha likes to have emissions i figured they all would have them…

no need to say sorry, ive just never heard of it…

Heard there was a certain f-bod in today?

still going smooth, been about a week on the new setup, still in the back of my head that i ruined the tranny bearing even though every mechanic says im hearing things (UGH), then i read the haynes manual for fun today, first sentence in the maintenance sections says “if youre chain is too tight, you may have ruined the transmission output shaft bearing” ahhh god jesus

only bumps ive experienced so far: about 7 hours of cleaning rims, fairings, swing arm, and everything that is around the chain thanks to the wax going all over
2nd: keep wondering if the chain pitch is the same as the front sprocket, i feel like im hearing the two as it goes around only at WOT, but who knows, im very peranoid

here’s one of the dyno movie (the only one im gonna post they take forever to upload)

0-170 mph in under 20 seconds… lol.

hows the bike feel?

You didn’t go WOT before the mods?

Did you not shit in a diaper before you used the toilet? Walk then run?

You should have gone WOT in the first couple seconds you were on the bike. You would have thought twice about regearing it.

Thats my thoughts… why need more power/more acceleration/less top end/less gas mileage, if you werent even using the power before?

I know you broke the previous sprocket, but you said you had already planned on buying new…

just saying…
