This is what happens when you try and tune the cart yourself … lol the track guys couldn’t figure out what was wrong with cause it would only die when a certain someone drove it. :rofl
After sorting out all the issues between cameras flying off into the grass, having automatic shut-off issues and others the final result in the scrapyard is … 3 videos.
Thankfully one of which is indeed Swifty’s video of him piling another dude, but that’s just a daily occurrence in Swifty’s man-love world.
Videos are all shaky and one is upside down, I could either give you guys the raw from the start or take a week (or two or a year) promising to edit them, deshake and others to give a better result.
One thing about leaning… If you are leaning INTO the turn it doesn’t necessarily help you. Leaning to the OUTSIDE of the turn can be better in most cases.
Reason is that the kart has a solid axle and no diff (as Shady learned- j/k man), and because of this you have to get the INSIDE rear wheel to lift off the ground so you can turn because both wheels want to turn forward at the same rate. Having the INSIDE rear wheel off the ground removes this contact patch and the force that causes plow, or understeer…
If you lean to the OUTSIDE it can help the inside wheel to lift and get you to turn…
Now… If you were in kart #10 try none of the above. Only being balls out Singh style (and a prayer or two) can help you there…
