Some people don’t like being told how their car should look or run. . .I’m building my car how i want it, don’t really care what other people think about it cuz it’s mine. . .
BTW Skygirl. . .tight rims. . .can’t wait to see it in person :E

well said nismo240r, i agree with you everyone wants their car to look a their a certain way, and not what other people want.
Yea nice car skygirl, your husband says you have lots of plans for the car, so cant wait to see what different stuff you will be doing
It will all be done by the 17th at the VERY latest. Alot of plans is an under statement. lol
Thanks
Even with suspension I cant drop my car that much due to how wide the rears are and the fenders are that wide. I am 1inch from rubbing as it is. You cant expect that much when you run 18’s. The short shifter will bring it down a bit and if it doesnt enough to my standards then I am going to get a new shift knob I bought the momo one before I had this car and it was really meant for another car.
By the way I wanna have sex with my car!!!
FRONT PLATES ARENT GAY!!! :finga: j/k
Screw all of you I am putting an under glow kit, big bass and all sorts of interior lights oh and I cant wait till my new spoiler gets here!! :vom:
SLAP ON SOME PURPLE DICE, LIMO TINT, AND SPINNAZ AND YOU BE READY TO GO
Cant forget about the decals APC all the way. And slide your gay so stop bitching see you all around
i liked the shift knob. it’s a Momo anatomic. that groove fits you thumb nicely. and the classic shape helps you pull the shifter with your fingertips from 1st or 3rd.
stretched sidewalls = lame. if people can’t afford the proper tires for a 18X9 inch wide wheel, they shouldn’t be buying them. i don’t think skygirl is in this category, as she probably has plenty planned for her car.
anyway, nice car.
THANK YOU you are offically the nicest NECC member!!!1
I don’t quite agree on the stretched sidewalls. . .Mine are gonna be pretty stretched. . .not that I can’t afford wider tires, it’s for clearance. . .17x9 front 17x10 rear. . .shit I can’t remember the tire sizes. … but they’re stretchy. . .
do you not understand the purpose of stretched tires??? can’t afford??? maybe you can’t afford a good enough rim that you would have to stretch the tires over hahaa enjoy 17x7’s if you dont want stretch… once you learn proper wheel fitment you will understand unless you plan on having a dragster? If soo enjoy

I like the look of my tires on my car! And as said by slide stretching tires saves money! So since you seem to know so much what is the proper “wheel fitment” for my car? Cause the previous owner of my rims and tires must not know either. I think this thread is going way OFF TOPIC! Maybe a new thread in the “off topic” section should be started about “wheel fitment and tire stretching”. I LOVE my car I think its nice I like the way it sits and I like the way it drives if you dont then that is fine you dont own it I do I bought it I modified it and I drive it. Please dont jack my thread.
heya…did u end choosing rims for this car in that thread posted about choosing rims by u??did u go with the sizes and offset i recomended or at least in the ball park???
or are these the ones that cam on it?..IMO the 265 is kind of silly for a 9.5 rim…a 255 fits perfect…245 looks good too, not a stupid strech or anything…
anyways good luck with things… :partyman:
Hey I got a question. How much did the vanity plate cost and how long did it take for you to get it? I’m thinking of getting one myself.
Nice Skyline by the way
It cost around 220-240 I cant remember exactly they also gave me a temporary plate while I was waiting for mine. They mail it normally and it took 3 weeks to get to me but they say 4-6 weeks. They also send you 2 one for the front and one for the back. TY

No I bought other rims off 780 the same size of those ones you said but I dont have stretched tires as you can see and I used 8mm spacers in the rear nothing in the front. The guy I bought the rims from didnt know the offset and it isnt on the inside of the rims so we have no clue what they are. They dont rub AT ALL I think the 5mm spacers would have been to close to the spring for comfort. Thanks for the advice.
Did you just say that you bought a set of wheels without knowing what offset they are ?!
BITCH PLEASE… SPINNAZ FIT ON ALL CARS BORA
i think the wheel fitment looks good and the fender gap is fine. sure…you COULD go lower, but then you loose alot of comfort and have to swerve around every pot hole and creep up every curb ect… I think your ride hieght is practical and looks good. and without huge power you don’t need huge tires, they just look bad ass. so I think you have a nice daily drivin sports car.
