i got the pioneer dynamics thing but i have a question does any body know what wire from the cars computer ( i have a 95 240sx s14) gives out the speed detection pulse i need to know cause im not paying 65$ for them to conect 1 fucking wire for me + when it said connect the violet/white wire to the wire that when the car is in reverse the voltage changes so does this mean i connect this wire to the back up tail lights or what?

and the reverse signal if it says positiive input, then yes the reverse lights, or look on your shifter where it goes into reverse, then test the wire and see what it does when u put it into reverse, it’s it puts out a positive signal when it’s in reverse then just splice the wire and soder it on (don’t use the shitty conectors they give you they suck)
if it puts out a negative signal then run a relay not too hard, but also if the wire needs a negative signal and the reverse puts out a positive signal then run a relay again
now for your vehicle speed sensor, i just checked my tech data site and there is nothing for it on a 95 240, and i checked for all other years listed for 240sx and there is nothing, so i can’t really help you out there, from what i know, my boss said if you can’t find it, then find one one who knows where it is because it’s like impossible to test to try and find the thing, it’s really dumb but thats how it is
try other 240 sites, or http://www.the12volt.com lots of experinced installers on that site and you can search or post on the forums and look to see if anyone knows where
