Um yeah let me see you do it on Lothrop street or Darrah in the winter with snow on the ground in traffic. The hill is rediculously steep, and filled with people that can’t drive period.

Conclusion you can’t. If you don’t know what hills I’m talking about take a ride to oakland and try it in the winter. Unlike you I can’t call off because there is snow on the ground.

Same with Beuhla and Frankstown EVERYONE drifts there.

i already thought that

is that the one by your house that has a getgo on the other side?

that hill is by far the dumbest place to put a long rediculous light too :bash:

yeah, the one coming from the parkway to frankstown…

Tell me about it. As you get to the top it actually gets steeper…

all hills get steeper at the top :shaggy:

:squint:

Nice Cobalt man…Keep that shit clean, from one black car owner to another it’s a BITCH! lol.

Yeah…when I washed it last time I like had to wash it twice. lol.

why did you get rid of the accord…IMO that accord > that colbolt.

  1. let clutch out till it catches
  2. remove foot from brake and hit gas
  3. feather clutch till you start to move forward
  4. proceed as normal.

do this at a somewhat brisk pace and you do not drift at all. Well, your car needs to have a little bit of torque to hold the car at idle for a split second but it worked good with my sho at 200ft.lbs. People that drift back don’t know how to drive a stick.

How steep are these roads? Have you ever been on Streets Run road in Baldwin at the intersection of 51, across from the eat’n’park? that’s pretty steep and I never have a problem there. :dunno:

no matter WHAT you drive, that hill by our house fucking sucks, and people always pull up right on your ass.

If I had to make a guess, it’s over a 45° angle hill.

i drive home from work that way. there were a bunch of old assholes at the drug store protesting abortion the other day, standing in the street… had to wait on the hill for 4 lights. :bash:

I sold that awhile back. I sold it to a friend. It’s still local. I know it was dumb, but I just wanted something different. Now I wish I had it back, eventhough I have a new car. He’s a good guy though. He put in the JDM F22B DOHC swap into it. He’s gonna meet up with me someday so I can drive it again.

:grouphug: :drama:

ok

yeah they are extremely bad, and add in Ice, its not helping any. Since Pittsburgh has winter 6 months out of the year, its fucking annoying. Trying to get up the parking garage, first you have to sit on the hill at a light, people pull up on you ass, you try to pull out but start to slip, the people then try to go around you and they start to slip and its a fucking nightmare. Don;t forget to add in all the construction, buses stoping every block (why can;t people walk the extra block), shuttle buses and so forth. The best ones are the ones who get a good running start and then stop because they have no fucking clue where they are, then the whole hill stops again.

There have been some times that you stop and as soon as you stop you start sliding backwards. Now that is fucking freaky.

that hill was designed by stoners :kekegay:

That hill sucks! When I was 16, the guy I was dating lived down that way, and I used to dread sitting at that light in my 88 automatic corsica. I drifted back bad in that thing. People sit up on your ass, Id have my left foot on the brake and drive it like it had a clutch when the light turned green. That hill owns all Ive ever sat at. The mustang just sits there without my foot on the gas or brake lol.
