I wouldn’t even bother. I have a P3 450, and there are a few games that friends at work play that I cannot due to system requirements. P4’s are up around the 3 GHz mark. I would scrap it and get a new one.
512B RAM
Operates at a speed of 333MHz
184-pin DDR dual in-line memory module (DIMM)
$95, - $35 rebate = $60
:dunno:
I could also get an 80GB HD for about the same amt.
But of course, they dont take gift cards over the interweb so i have to go to the nearest store which is like a 45 in drive…
Originally posted by scfb518t sorry to burst the bubble but I doubt a Dell P3 450 uses DDR or RDRAM…most likely it will use SDRAM 100/133mhz but you would have to verify that
no bubble bursted, but i have an older 400Mhz dell with 128MB of RDRAM in it, sitting here.
