Pittspeed Is Dead

when the fuck does this happen???

:ugh2:

Maybe people just need to realize that they are douche bags and no one wants to hang out with them. IDK maybe I just have more friends than you complainers, I don"t need this site to find someone to hang out with. I’m not trying to bash anyone just saying.

is there another Pittsburgh forum or is the car thing really this dead in Pittsburgh

who the fuck are you anyway?

x2 !

but people move (Baltimore now DC for me) and some dont want to spend their money on a fast car esp when they got house payment / kids to worry about… Just like our parents we will get back into it around retirement and the scene will be what it was … just a lil different.

BOB: I agree 2005 was one of the best seasons but after that the scene died. Your definately right about BJ. that dude always had ppl who wanted to go out / race / chill with him. Posimadness was a tribute to the best of times before gas prices rose and ppl took different paths in life.on of the best DVD’s ever made !

ROFL at the old people still trying to act like they are in high school or trying to relive he “glory days”. The people that were around when pittspeed got started are older now and have more important things to do than “hang out”. If you are one of the originals and still have time/desire to sit in a parking lot and talk about cars, you really need to grow up and move on with life.

well said

Grow up and stop playing video games too losers… wait wut?

I like turtles

Steve

Definitely true. I really don’t give a crap about stupid ass “meets” involving hanging out with 16 year olds in parking lots, but it’d be nice to see some traffic on this site to keep me entertained at work like it did back in the day.

ppl are to concerned with playing online video games then the car scene. Who said anything about 16yr olds.

some of you act like once you get married all of your past life is over. marriage doestn change anything unless you allow it. marriage is a ring on your finger and to some ppls wives or husbands it doesnt mean shit. Fact is generations of ppl are still married and into the car scene.

theres no Jerry’s meets or no Sonic meets or some A&W meets. these are were you get in your vehicle and cruise to a car hop. yes its a meet but if youre too old or busy for this then your life must be so great. something about old classic or new modern performance cars along with food just go together. Granted you wont enjoy this if you drive a busted ass eco car or some yuppie snob mobile

A true enthusiast doesnt let this get ‘old’ and move on to boring things

exactly my point there justin. I know down where youre living theres plenty of gatherings

I agree… Car/racing scenes are very much alive in other cities, pgh is a dead zone anymore.

My dad used to street race and such and never stopped going to the drag strip and car shows growing up, even when he had kids. I can remember him taking me to car shows and a few trips to keystone back in the day. Thats how I got hooked

Shit, now that i’m down here in texas, my dad has been taking the turbo car to the shows. Never driven my car since it was stock. Never driven the 383, but now he is driving the turbo car

Agreed

Very true the Indianapolis scene is very alive with an extremely diverse auto scene but the Midwest has always been like this.
