Well there was a thread with an expensive Civic and people here said it was a good deal.

So $4500 for a 10-18 year old economy car with high mileage is a deal but a modded Mustang isnt worth a bit more?

A bit, as in 500-1000, maybe. Gotta consider the fact that you can get into a Mustang/Camaro that’s 10 years (or more) newer than yours for 9k or less.
