any of you drive a RHD car, on US roads?
its a bit strange the first few miles especially turning into traffic, but u get used to it quick, shifting is weird also. my friend had a 91 GTR, one of the few that moto-rex brought it, and because it came through before the issue came up with motorex he was able to keep it… it had the R34 GTR turbos on it, exhaust, intakes, R34 wheels, JIC Magic coilovers, i was very impressed by the car in every aspect… just another reason i loved living in washington… so many sick cars come down from Vancouver, or up from California, and most of the counties have no Emissions compliance, so its all fair game, just got to watch out for the muffler enforcment.

Just buy a RHD vehicle and register as a mail carrier. :lol I used to know a kid that had a RHD SUV of some sort, Jeep if I remember correctly that was used for the towns mail carrying. But other than RHD it was a completly normal vehicle and used as such when it wasn’t carrying mail
my mail carrier in Washington had a white legacy wagon, RHD, it was a rural route carrier, since i lived in the sticks.

It is in fact not illegal in any way shape or form to register a right hand drive vehicle in NYS.

Get all the paperwork you need to register any normal car and you can register said car.

Word, i think most of us know it’s not illegal. I know LKSi said he has seen a RHD BMW M5 w/ NYS plates, and i have seen a few Honda’s that are RHD w/ NYS plates and registration.
Yeah that guy with the m5 rolled into Marcus Dairy last year. I think the real trouble with registering an authentic rhd car is having the vin registered to the U.S. Or rather, getting a vin for it… for lack of a better phrase.

ill help you do the rhd swap if you really want to. but your gonna have to pay me. its a shit load of work. ive swapped out structural unibody pieces though so i know how to do it. but not for free by any means. sorry.
and gsr brakes are the same as em1 Si brakes. larger than any ek hatch brake setup. 9.5 inch front with a different caliper. and the rears are obviously drum to disk swap. they are all the same for the most part. but im positive that he didnt change the proportioning valve so its hardly any rear braking force. you need to swap in a 40/40 from an integra or em1 si.
Last year I was really looking into importing an R32 from canada. Basicaly you would have to buy the vehicle, get all of its paperwork… including the papers from the company you are buying the car from stateing where the car came from and records indicating it was sold to the company legit and wasnt stolen, then go to the DMV and have the car registerd. After that you would have to drive up and pick up the car put the plates on and drive back thru. From their on its all emissions shit.
