PLEASE READ LOL!!!!

then why in june of last year, did 2 customs agents, (quebec) and the schenectady DMV tell me its illegal for ny state. thats the only 2 things im going on. not trying to argue but if it can be done, and i have the money, ill have a r32 next year. period

if i get money someday, ill just get an sylvia of sorts and enjoy it

believe that when it’s been witnessed in person. period.

R33>R32

not only that but because motorex was lying about the crash testing on the r32’s and using the r33 crash tests, r32’s and r34’s were banned. the only skylines you can now import and have made legal are 1996-1997 r33’s. That is unless you want to buy two and total one for crash test purposes, and unfortunately while you can import an r33 they have no emissions on them and 1996 was obd2, my guess is that you could probably rig up an obd2 port from a 240, or some other nissan. Now this is just information I got off of a nissan forum, I’ll find the link for it if needed, there was lots of good information. basically the only way to get an r32 was find one that motorex made legal (illegally mind you) but its allready registered and has a vin so its good.

this baby is already imported… he’s selling it too!

its an audi a3… not the newest ones…

wish i had the money and my car sold.

the whole thing is so nice but that back end is HORRIBLE, such a shame the rest of it is :thumb

strange lookin car

the guy selling it is a tool from the sounds of it. 16,000 for that thing, its not Rare, maybe if it was an S3 with the 225hp/ quattro platform( basically an audi TT) but its just like driving a golf/gti but with pop out windows and a bunch of electronics that will fail and cost you a bunch of money to fix since parts arent exactly common to a golf as far as interior goes, drivetrain is no problem though.

That explains why you always see R33’s then, never heard that side of the story… thanks.

IMHO I think motorex completely overpriced the skylines i mean cmon an R33 for 50 grand, I could go to Tigerjapanese buy an R33 GTR with 80kmi on it for 13 grand regsiter it drive it back and get it inspected from a friend and call it a day

calling it a day after

~racing someone
~going 200MPH down the northway home

or drive it like mrs daisy ::slight_smile:

Dude, id baby that skyline

till I got past the border

Only see R33’s in general? or in NY or the Northeast, because i have seen an R34 or a few in pictures and videos.

\

lol

R34 at HIN boston. it was HAWT

word, he seems like a douche.

You see more R33’s than anything else, and why most sites that sell IMported skylines seem to be r33’s

GTR>GTS-T

fail. r32 is best lol

There are many many ways of getting a JDM car here from Canada and registering it, however very few are legal and even fewer are feasible.

Two major sites to look for JDM stock going to Canada are

www.jdmconnection.ca

www.importconcern.ca

also check out www.gtrcanada.com (or .ca) to see cars already in Canada and registered as Canadian cars, many are for sale.

You can get a nice R32 Gtr for about $15,000. US.

Due to Canadian 15 year old rule, no cars past (newer then) 1993 (as of this year) can be imported.

IIRC R33 was not in production until '94 or '95.

You can always call your R32 a “heavily modified Nissan 240sx, with RHD conversion and Skyline front clip mod, and tail light mod” and hope nobody ever checks wins or busts your balls :ninja
