You have to prove that she can’t make decisions/take care of herself.
You need a doctors note and all this nonsense. Friend of mine just went through the same ordeal with her grandmother.
why not just have her SS check direct deposited into an account that you have access to online bill pay for? VOILA
the thing is she live by her self now and everything is ok but i have a family member with a bad drug problem and he takes her check from her and i end up paying her bills… i thought there was a diff way around it … and if all i need is a doc note i can get one of them made no problem .
we tryed this. the person got the acc# and took money out … no questions asked ( he had a slip signed from her to take out $$ ) she will sign anything you ask her to
