The point is smoke is a free radical that has cancerous toxins that can be passed on even if you the smoker didn’t mean to. With all this being comapred to alcohol, alcohol enters the drinker body and thats it. You can’t be affected by alcohol simply by being in the same room as it.

There would be laws, enforced by police officers, that would not ALLOW people to openly smoke pot in public places. In Amsterdam, you cant just walk around and smoke a joint. You have to go to a hash bar, or in a house or something. So please, stop making that same arguement, because thats REALLY NOT how it would be.

yes, people will abuse weed if it is legal. But people abuse it now so why not make a little cash off of it?
I still have not seen a report on whether second hand(tobacco or weed) is bad for others. I see both sides rambling on that they are correct but nothing from a scientific standpoint can prove good or bad.
I do not smoke(anything) and have never tried a cigarette or weed, but the goverment has no right to stop people from doing these things. I understand that healthcare wiold probably rise, but some things(personal freedom in a free society) are way more important than higher healthcare costs. I would not “love” paying for all of the potheads, but would tolerate it because freedom is more important than money.
So once you throw out money and second hand smoke, what are the downfalls of it? the only one I can think of is it’s one more thing for people to abuse, but once again, that’s what makes america the best country, you are allowed to fuck up.
