i didn’t know if anybody knew or cared that these are coming out. i’m not sure what the G3 is but i do know that the G5 is built from a colbolt platform. i seen the pic at work of it and didn’t look to bad.

There was an article in Motor Trend about that. Companies are going more toward alphanumeric names partly because it sounds more “upscale”, i.e., European. At least that was the author’s opinion.
They used the naming G8 for the V8 GP a few years back :dunno:
saturn just got rid of all the sc2 sw 2 and went with ion vue sky ect… because it sounds cheap. hmmmm

We have (2) G5’s here. GM sent them out as sort of a display for people who want one, i believe the actual sale of them starts in a few mo. they look EXACTLY like a g6, maybe a little smaller. but from what i have heard you can get a completely loaded one for under 18k
G3 = rebadged Chevy Aveo.
G5 = rebadged Chevy Cobalt.
