lol what you guys consider mild i consider somewhat hot. i’d run a 306 in an auto car only if it was a more strip car, but w/e lol 847 cam is MEAN in a 383 tho but on a 350 that thing will rev to the moon if you have the heads for it. good cam
as far as power numbers, with supporting mods and stock heads, most i’ve seen was in a manual car making 360whp with that 306 cam. thats kick ass!
but that all depends on the tune. thats why i’d recommend a 503 cam or the LE1 cam (lloyd elliot) for more bottom lower rpm range power and torque over the bigger 306. Or go slightly larger like the combination motorsports 227/233 cam which is nice inbetween cam. the smaller cams should make just as much power and probly more torque than the 306 from idle to 4500-5000 rpms or so where the 306 might start making abit more all the way to 6000 when the heads cut the cam off
The LE2 cam is like the 306 cam but will make more bottom end torque between 2500-3500 they say which is nice.
