I need a go fast mod for the summer, thinking about a cam. what should i go with and what all do i need? want some extra power but dont wanna sacrifice too much since its my only car i have. LINKS would be very helpful, ive been tryin to look at ls1tech to research buts its always down. :mullet:
Or should i maybe go with some suspension mods before cam?

a cam should be something you get to help with your gears
look at ones from TSP, like the Magice stick or the Torquer v.2, or the 231/237 cam they have!!! brian can hook u up…
get a complete cam kit, will have everything u really need, might want to look into getting a new timing chain…i got the LS2 timing chain, very strong and can handle the high revs! Maybe a differetn oil pump, but urs is a 01, soo i think u dont have to really worry about that

If money is an issue 02+ Z06 cams are dirt cheap. Smokey did that and will be puting on Z06 heads too. Nothing crazy but cheap, reliable, and decent power gains. But if you have $$$ then there are aftermarket ones that are good too.
