I started workin on mine for the summer as well:

'scuse the mess:

I want to get the frame Pcoated flat black, I can do the swingarm myself bu the frame is too big to go in the oven.

thought you wanted to turn one street legal. that will be more fun on the trails but should have went with the dr to run on the street.

the dr kinda deal i had going on fell through and i decided to get this instead and buy a trailer for my car to haul it.

I would sell that lunchbox you have sitting in the driveway and keep the Jeep!

LOL, that’s my wifes DD, she kind of needs it to get to work. Plus the 35+ MPG is kinda nice.

Nice, I finally got mine back from from balancing.

nice clutch

Those clutches look very nice!

Whats the rating on them? … Just curious (Im not up to speed on any clutchs unless there for a diesel)

Twin setup with the light pressure plate and 7in is 600ftbs with ceramic disks, 800ftlbs with composite.

They make triples and quads with larger disks as well.

Nice! … How is the streetability of a twin setup with a clutch like that? How is pedel pressure?
Im just curious, no real reason behind the questions. Like I said before, Im used to dealing with 13" aftermarket single & double disc clutchs for diesels, and just wondering how the effects are on something like this compared to what Im used to.

Im guessing the same effects apply, but probally less that what I run into. Im sure these clutch are aggressive, and pedel effort is increased a lot more than stock

pedal feel is stock since load is distributed between 3 dis insead of 1. the ceramic unsprung obviously is a little rough to get used to. composite is a lot easier. noisy fuckers tho.

I see … The dd in diesels (depending on how big you go) the pedel pressure is increased by a good bit. Do you guys run clutchs with ceramic buttons? I know about noisy clutches!!

I have a twin plate clutch in my 240. It takes a little bit of time to get used to it, but it is pretty easy to drive on the street. Stop and Go traffic puts a beating on your leg though!

Try stop & go with a 13" 3600 6CB Sprung Hub in a NV4500 tranny … lol

Hows the 240 comming this year Whitey?
