i got into bags a while ago. i agree bags are the way to go. they hold a lot more tackle and they’re generally less heavy.
good deal with the quantum reel too. i own several baitcasters than have given me years of reliable service

benefit of the bag is I have soft plastics in one, cranks and spinners in another, hooks and powerbait stuff in another, and finally ocean and gar lures in the last one.
before I had to swap all kinds of stuff out and put my ocean lures and shit in when I went to the beach. now I have everything in 1 bag and its still lighter :bigthumb:
that quantum isnt a baitcaster. I dont really care for baitcasters, I can still get my spinning rod into some pretty tight spots.
I was looking for the quantum array but couldnt find it anywhere and this was about $30 more. I opted to buy online and save $20 tho.
Im in the process of putting together a medium-heavy setup for bass, this pole will only be used for cranks, spinners, and weighted craws
I got another one that is a light action 5’6" F&S with a shitty reel, still works GREAT on canonsburg on the boat & pulled in a 3lb largemouth with it there.
i use spinning equipment for soft plastics only. i don’t know why but i can get a better feel for the lure with it.
i’ve never fished canonsburg for bass but i go out to crosscreek a couple nights a week
thats where Im lookin to go soon. here its really good bass fishing.
what do you do? throw topwater once it starts getting dark?
