Stock cooling, not overclocked, though this chip can go up to 4ghz with limited cooling, memory running at full 1066. At 1280x1024 I scored 11,469 in 3dmark 06. I think once i get the new drive i might try to oc this thing a bit.
I played a 2 hour games of supreme commander forged alliance last night on a 80km map and this thing didnt flinch, next i want to try crysys.
haha, ya building is usually quite a bit cheaper. And you get exactly what you want. Overclocking headroom is the biggest plus in building yourself. That wolfdale of yours will hit 4.0 easy. Buy a zalman 9700, oc the chip to 3.8-4.0 and then oc your gpu with rivatuner. I bet you can break 13k on the 3d mark.
thats cpu is sittin at 4500mhz though. Thats gotta be rare, even for that cpu. Must be on water. That vid card has to be insanely overclocked too. Ive got 2 cards, both of which when by themselves are better than a single 9600gt, and his gpu scores are just as good. Thats nuts. Then again even when my q6600 is at 3.6, it bottlenecks my cards. I should go for the q9450 soon.
