Pound Road RailRoad tracks(pics)

last night I was feelin a little reckless, doin some spirited driving. I came up to a set of RR tracks that I know anyone can get air off of.(Pound Road) I said to myself “Fuck it” proceeded to accelerate over the speed limit and launch my car off the tracks at about 55mph.

I’d say I traveled about 30’ through the air at about a max height of 1.5’ off the ground. the car landed square, bottomed out, and I continued on. the oil light promptly came on, and I continued on, 3 miles back home. I parked the car looked under it and couldn’t see anything without a light. I walked into the garage and did some more work on my Datsun.

this morning I went out to look at the Oil pan, and I began to laugh hysterically.

now, the story in picture form…

it isn’t really a huge deal to me, I have 2 spare motors for this car, I can probabaly get away with just replacing the pan. and i only paid $300 for the car.

All that is retard

Oops!

Oil lights coming on after doing a SIQQQ jump is probably not a good sign. It was on the whole way home and you didnt stop?

I support this.

Let’s be honest, we’ve all done similar shit.

I commend you highly for posting this

Filarious

It’s my '99 Saab 9-3 the dummy light for the oil comes on when the oil pressure is at like 6 psi. I obviously had 0psi of oil pressure, and I had to by the car home. I have 2 spare motors in my garage if I feel so compelled to swap one in. But inonly paid $300 for the car, so I could scrap it and gt my money back. I’m going to replace the oil pan tomorrow and see if the motor knocks, if it doesn’t I’m good to go. If it does, to the scrap yard she goes.

And enjoyed every bit of it

We used to do this all the time. I think I have some crummy vids…
