K here goes… Me and the wifey cruised up to Taffy’s and got there about 10:30-10:45 and the lot was empty, so we figured what the hell were already here might as well get some shakes, so we did. As were sittin there i here 2 cars shoot down XXX and wasnt sure if they pulled in or not. So we finished our shakes and headed out to the car to see 2 sets of headlights in the parkin lot. We get in the car and head out down road x to see if there was anyone at southgate and the 2 cars followed me. 
They were a black 2g Dsm, and a white Prelude. So prelude gets next to me, im thinkin it should be a decent race even if he has the h22 swap, so we both down shift to 2nd ride it a lil then i take off and he followes, top of 2nd he put about 1/2 a car on me, then hit 3rd and then he had some really bad traction and torque steer:ohnoes: and by the end of 3rd he had about 4-5 cars on me. I get next to him and asked “h22 swap?” and he replies “yep, and turbo” :tup: So then i caught a light with the eclipse w/ the BIG intercooler and we both rode out 1st and we took off at about the same time, was decently close, by top of 3rd he had about 1 car on me… So we pulled over and talked for a bit and they were bro’s who just finished up there cars this week, and were lookin for some races up at Taffy’s, i told em we go up there every week or hit up mighty any fri, sat or sun night, and of coarse i told em about the board:P

kinda suprised of what came outta that neon (even though i was in third, not second :roll: haha sorry, had to say it) cool guy too. Oh, and there was also a teal colored turbo civic hatch with a black hood that was messing around with us when i was heading to duffs, i think he heading to taffys if any of you know him, he didnt seem very sociable lol, anyway good run

that eclipse must be pretty poorly modded if it’s as slow as your car. shouldn’t it be faster stock? lol
same motor, and i think eclipse is heavier so i think r/t would be > rs, im guessing

and also I believe the eclipse only came with 130ish HP, Neons come 150 stock and weigh about 300 lbs less…

yeah im sure ill see you all up there sometime, im there all the time as it is, now that they take credit atleast.
my car is white with black rims with a polished lip, i think ive seen the blue one, mines the 4th gen, i think that other one is a 5th.
oh and the eclipse isnt tuned fully, its still running very rich. wonder when hes gonna get that finished, not to mention he needs a new clutch too.
edit and yes it is fun to beat up on the neon R/T’s
420A Turbos= Waste of Time and Money…ask any one around here who has tried (Me being one of them) and they will all agree…Too Heavy of a Car, No AWD, And Parts are Expensive…hope to see you guys up there next weekend.
yea, we’ll see how much of a waste of money it will be after next winter and i do internals and make easy 400+ WHP:)
LOL…dont get me started…Built Bottom End & Upgraded Fuel System will run you $2500 w/o a Forged Crankshaft…my post wasn’t meant to offend you I would love to see someone successfully build a 420A…but I cant justify spending that much $$$ money on a car even if it has 400+whp…it still wont be able to catch traction and even if it does still weighs 3000lbs…thats why I ditched my plans…end of rant…PM me details on your rebuild plans and ill shoot you some ideas
