I’ve spent a fair amount of time looking at the major issues and have to support Ron Paul, if he is capable of delivering half of what he promises life in this country will get much better for working Americans. Anyone else will just be business as usual, I would start studying the Arabic language in 2009 and more then likely move to Morocco before I was 30 and expat from the US. The only reason I can see not liking Ron Paul is if your abusing the system and want to continue doing so, in particular Hilary will enable more people to abuse the system - not to mention some of her proposed ideas will cost a fortune with no short or long term benefits. I am strongly against spending money for the sake of spending money, like the stimulus package. Bottom line is if something is not done with the national debt, there will be HUGE problems in under 20 years and I don’t want to be around for that. Anyone who thinks it will just solve itself has their head in the sand, what happens if China or Saudi Arabia call the loans? We are so ill prepared to pay them back they would literally own our country, the only thing we could do to preserve is to start war with them, which the rest of the world would not support, in fact they would probably be against us with the exception of Israel, Canada and England(maybe). The way I see it is if we continue down the same path we have been we’re headed for big trouble in our lifetime, I’d rather take a chance and fail then not try at all.
Not to single her out but Hilary being a woman is a big problem, not in the USA but in other foreign countries, countries we have huge foreign relation problems with already. Her presence would only make thing worse and them think of us as weaker then they already do. I think the USA is ready for a female president but the rest of the world may not be and to ignore that fact is plain ignorance. It may not be fair, but who ever said life is? I didn’t make the rules but I learned a long time ago its best to play by them or you’ll get your ass handed to you.
+1 for Ron Paul, he has come in second twice, has beaten McCain a few times. If he had the Media attention that McCain or Clinton had he would be doing better than he is. It’s unfortunate. In my oppinion I like his idea of a Free Tax system. But whoever wins, wins. My vote is for Paul, although it dosen’t matter becuase NY is a D state and we will end up voting D anyway. So here, paul dosen’t matter.
I don’t know where your getting your facts but take a look:
Ron Paul appears to be more well prepared then most give him credit for, I think after super Tuesday a lot of people will be forced to pay attention.
You understand very little about me, but trust me if any of the others are elected I will not plan on remaining in this country for long and I will be picking up a copy of
… as far as your “straw poll” results. A straw poll has nothing to do with primaries. telling me that he got first place in the “Connecticut Breast Cancer Coalition Straw Poll” is meaningless.
How many delegates does he have? How many does McCain have? or Romney?
i think you are right, bill was a good president but hilary wont run it the same way, you know what my girlfriend said whne i asked her who she was going to vote for she says hilary, then i asked her why and she says because shes a girl, :wtf
That’s a ridiculous justification but old people vote for very specific things. To be honest, every candidate is going to say what is necessary to win. The best thing you can do is align yourself with the candidate who you feel will do the best for you. I agree with you but it is what it is.
to be honest i will not vote this year, i dont geel that any one president can fix our problems, besides i hate the word politics, when you vote someone in for president then comes there politics, the people they have to look out for before the general public, i think someone should run for president that has no political affiliation to anyone, therefore thre views are not scewed towards certain things because someone gave them there support. I think thats why there isnt a huge change from president to president, excluding bush. just an opinion
well IMHO this country is in dire needs of a turn around the econmy is in the dumps
Bush had a good first 4 years then the last 4 were ok/descent
i am a registered Republican and will not be voting for H. Clinton
my dad is a democrat and will be doing the same thing he will be voting for a republican
same with my mom
my sister on teh other hand does not know the issues for each canidate but is voting for clinton just because she likes her and think we need a women president at our country’s present circumstances.
