Pro Solo comes to WNY for 2007

Finger Lakes Region will be hosting an event in the SCCA Pro Solo series this year at Seneca Army Depot July 21-22.

For those not familiar with the Pro Solo format, it is kind of like a combination between solo and bracket racing. You run head-to-head against your opponent, and starts are done drag-racing style, with the tree and all.

The best of the best will be there for this event, as it part of a points series for the national Pro Solo championship. Registration opened yesterday, and there are already over 100 entries. Entry cap is 230.

Do the Pro Solo events require anything besides an scca membership to be eligible?
