I got the new cam swapped in last weekend. Ever since I started it, the low end drivablity was sluggish and generally shitty. The reluctor ring on the old cam as significantly out of whack and was causing incorrect timing. The cam manufactuer replaced the old cam at no charge. Luckily it caused no damage.
It made a HUGE difference in drivablity and definitly picked up some HP in the process. Time for a new clutch…
In any case its fixed now!
