Program to compress DVD/Video -> PDA

I have a Dell Axim X50V PDA with a 512MB card. I want to put a compressed DVD file so I can watch it. I don’t care if its thru Windows Media or another program like DIVX. I would just like to know how to do it.

You can go to www.download.com and search for Dr. DIVX - it will be a limited time use program, but you should be able to shrink whatever movie file you want quite a bit. The program is easy to use

Kinoma

love it.

Oh wait, I dunno if this works on pocketPC

Yeah I forgot… what program are you going to be using to view the vid? Do you know what kind of files that program reads?

pocket dvd > your mom, buick has it

Yeah I was looking at Pocket DVD, just been to cheap to splurge.

I wish there was some way to use Windows Media Player 10 to compress the file when I sync it with the handheld. There are different compression levels that is convienient depending on what storage I have available on the card.

I have Windows Media Player and Pocket MVP installed on the Axim.

I would like to use DVD Shrink to rip a DVD movie to one single file and then compress that to fit on the 640 x 480 resolution or whatever resolution it takes to fit on this card.

back from the dead, my phone has media player 10 on it, and i want to be able to watch movies on it (on flights, while having sex, whatever)

how do i get ghostbusters off dvd and on to my phone
