I’ll swear its a e-prom in that car .
Maybe I can take my eeprom burner out of retirement for this one.
Time to get excited!

Just watched a video of one of these swaps on the dyno. Put down 140rwhp and 200rwtq. Video was terrible tho. stock engine exc. headers with no tuning
Motor mounts are built and powdercoated. The crappy ones they build and sell in the “swap kits” fatigue and sag over time, these aren’t!
Motor fits in like a glove, oil pan is higher than the crossmember for protection, and the hood closes with 3/4" clearance on the throttle body. Perfect.
Very, Very, Nice…
how much do these things weigh?
Ralph will chime in, but two people can lift the front or rear to put it on roller casters. Ask Kevin and Eric! LOL
wat the fuuckk lol
Boost, you asking about the mounts or the car?..The car should come in around 2000 lbs. No idea about the mounts!
car itself… ok cool
Looking good!
UPDATES COMING, as soon as I get time to snap some pics.
Transmission crossmember & custom mount is completed. Firewall was knocked out for bellhousing clearance and new sheet metal was bent up to fit back in, fully welded and ground smooth.
Since the engine is back out, now is the time to smooth it all out. Bay is being shaven smooth and everything tucked the best it can be.
Paint, color choice is Corvette Marlbro Maroon.
Body work: front and rear bumpers are deleted and custom roll pans were made from scratch then welded in front and rear. Door handles are shaved, chrome side molding is shaved, front quarter and door body line is shaved. Front marker lights are going to be updated and the front fender marker lights are shaved.
stay tuned.
Kevin put some serious hours in the sheet metal work on this car. Engine bay was shaved and the firewall was notched for the engine and trans clearance. The center box is a ram air setup that Eric made. It uses a stock Camaro V6 flat filter, and there is a bolt on lid that will feed the throttle body. Pics of that coming soon. Body work was completed last week and it was shot in SlickSand for final blocking.
20+ man hours AFTER shooting slick sand high build primer we put into blocking every inch of the body, priming again, and blocking out again, about 5 hours of dusting, vaccuming out the inside and under side, wiping down with grease and wax remover. dusting off again, wiping again, tack cloth, primer sealer, 3 coats of base & 5 coats of clear later…
1967 corvette marlboro maroon on a custom shaved and smoothed 74 MGB.
Trim pieces, hinges, latches, etc were sandblasted and powder coated matte black also. Assembilly will start this week, cutting and buffing tuesday. Should be in good shape to get some attention for the BBQ sat!
This is going to be awesome.
looking great!
