October 5th, 2005 - Car bought and drove, oil everywhere. Bought for $100.
October7th, 2005 - Oil pan was leaking badly, took it off re-siliconed and replaced. Cars 2nd day in garage.
October8th, 2005 - Idle sucks ass, guy before me had it set around 3000 rpm and I managed to get it around 1500 give or take 300 - 400 rpm, still trying to tune the carb to make it idle lower(the throttle doesnt even hit the idle screw).
Exhaust sound(try to turn speakers as loud as possible to reproduce 100percent):
Is it still chugging oil down like it’s going out of style? I looked at the car for a winter beater and it was puffing so badly I didn’t even want to chance it.
I hope you’re leaving the exhaust how it is though, god damn that’s hawt! :lol:
Haha yes I brought it home from its run from edmonton (yeah I drove the harley home) and I started it up after bringing it home and it smoked like a steam engine on full power for about 15 seconds. It all seems to be better now, Im not seeing any smoking whatsoever. God damn though that exhaust makes you jump every time you crack it.
As for who asked if that was drifting damage, I think the guy took it for a little offroading or some heavy snow drifting before I bought it.
** Ill be making a video today of how my tune job went, you then can hear how sick this exhaust really is.
