No, that’s what we used to call them back in the 80s.

80s was a sad decade for cars

[/quote]

The worst era ever: 1974-1983

mid-late 80’s weren’t nearly as bad as:
Pinto
Mustang II
Corvette with a factory 180hp 305
Any mercedes V8 made from 74-77
Ford LTD/Elite with 351M
Any Volvo/Renault/Peugeot with the V6
Vega (yes, even the Cosworth)
BMW E21 320i or E30 318i
Camaro Berlinetta (wtf is a Berlinetta anyway?)

During that era, I really think there was one decent car: Mercedes 240D (complete with about 65 hp)

C’mon, this was a great car!

A friend of mine had one in alaska. Its the same motor as the svo mustang and turbo coupe. I believe it has a nice lsd. I test drove one once and it pulled better than most 4cyl turbos. There is a small cult following but it would be a pain to get parts. It is different and can be made quick. Its a little steep if it needs a paint job.
