I see there’s a coil pack puller tool…
Do I really need that? I have 4 coil packs to yank…
Year and model? are they the bolt down packs or suction style push downs?
b6 s4 if i remember correctly.
Yeah, B6 S4… sorry about that.
I don’t know how similar the B6 S4 coils are but I was able to easily pull the B6 A4 and B5 S4 ones out by hand.
you’re fine, just unclip the plug(the harness on the s4’s is wrapped in hard plastic, be careful) — and pull up on the coilpack. It’ll pop right out. and be sure you get the red coilpack as a replacement… if you want it to match 
The puller tool is usually for 8v’s/vr6’s w/actual plug wires.
I pulled mine right out of my 2.7 and replaced them easily.
The car still runs like poop. 
If it is anything like the 2.0t which I think they are, Just grab the top and yank.
Super easy.
